Key enabler for HS2 contract work
Two of Europe’s most prominent and innovative engineering and construction companies – Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons Ltd – are working together in joint venture as LM, to deliver a dynamic enabling works programme for HS2's phase one across the West Midlands.
They are using datb's C-AIMS asset register, a variant of the AIMS system developed for HS2, to:
- Receive versioned asset data specifications from HS2
- Manage data collection and validation during project design and development
- Deliver data to HS2's instance of AIMS at key points during the design and build process
LM have also specified enhancements to the core C-AIMS product to facilitate key business processes.
