Our systems support specific business requirements and processes, and can be changed quickly and reliably as these requirements and processes change.  They are enablers of business change, not hindrances to it.

We work closely with clients’ staff to identify and refine requirements, and implement systems using kinodb, our development and deployment technology.  kinodb’s exceptional productivity enables us to implement functionality iteratively, so what we deliver is guaranteed to meet users’ expectations.  This iterative approach allows both opportunities and pitfalls to be recognised at any stage in the implementation process, meaning more productive development time and no risk of surprises when the application is delivered.

Once implemented, applications developed using kinodb are easily and reliably changed to meet business process changes or enhanced to cater for additional requirements.  As the application is defined exclusively in data, a definitive assessment of the impact of any change may be made simply by reference to the application definition.  This means that – even years after an application is delivered – changes can be made without risk of compromising the integrity of the application.

The net effect of this is that our applications are productive sooner, meet changing business requirements better and typically have a far greater longevity than typical business systems, delivering more business benefit whilst greatly reducing lifetime costs.

Alongside our bespoke development capabilities we also offer a number of specialised packages dealing with specific business needs: chief among these is Investment Manager, an application enabling asset investment optimisation for utilities and other organisations.  This application (developed jointly with asset investment specialists ICS Consulting) is used by the majority of the UK's major water companies, optimising billions of pounds of asset expenditure every year.
