Scottish Water - Asset Lifecycle Planning

Enterprise-wide whole-life costing for assets.

This recently started project will deliver significant new functionality within Investment Manager to support the creation, use and reporting of Asset Lifecycle Plans (ALPs).  The system will support a standard approach to the planning process and assessment, analysis and reporting of the resultant plans.

Lifecycle Plans will be version controlled and audited, enabling the implementation of draft / approval / revision process as required, plus the ability to see when changes were made to the plan, and by whom.

The system will provide one-stop access to all asset invesment data and will reference other asset information elsewhere as appropriate.

Availability of consistent and accurate whole-life costs will inform the investment optimisation process and will allow investigation of the effects of changes to maintenance regimes to the overall investment portfolio.
