PortabilityThe same kinodb client software is used whether developing a single-user database for MS Access or a multi-user Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 system. The database designer needs to know nothing about the underlying database, as the kinodb metadata engine handles the creation and management of all database objects. As you design your database application, kinodb creates the tables, fields, Structured Query Language (SQL) statements and input forms that are required. Once design is complete, so is the application! Using the same kinodb client that was used to develop the application, users can immediately start using it. |
