Design View - Screenshot

Return to datb home page

This screenshot shows a kinodb diagram in standard design view.  This diagram shows six tables, their fields and the relationships between the tables.  The black lines with crows feet represent the many to one relationships and the forigen key field.  The blue lines indicate lookup fields, virtual fields that physically exist on a different table.  Green lines indicate navigation paths, in the direction of the arrow, between tables.  The red lines indicate constraints that have been applied to the data model.

On the right hand side is the project palette, this provides an easy drag and drop mechanism for creating tables, adding fields to a diagram or swapping between different diagrams.
